1. Does Weaverville Drug Company accept my prescription insurance?
• We accept almost all insurance plans, including Medicaid, NC Health Choice, Tricare and all NC Medicare D plans.

2. Does WDC close early?
• Weaverville Drug Company is open Monday thru Friday 9:00 AM - 6:30 PM and Saturday 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM
• The drive-thru window is open at 9:00 AM Mon thru. Sat.

3. Will I pay more for my prescriptions at Weaverville Drug than at a chain store? What about insurance co-pays and over-the-counter products?
• Prescription co-pays are the same at every pharmacy. We offer VERY competitive prices on retail products!
• If our have prescription insurance or a prescription discount card the insurance company sets the price, not the pharmacy. Prices and co-pays are the same anywhere you go.
• Our cash prices are also competitive. If a local store has a better price, we'll match it for you.
• As part of the Good Neighbor Pharmacy system, our prices on non-prescription products are very competitive. GNP has over 5000 stores nation wide, and that's a lot of buying power.

4. Will WDC have my drugs and supplies in stock when I need them?
• We stock a large selection of brand name drugs and generics!
• We get orders in every day from many of our suppliers.
• Our wholesale warehouse is the largest in the United States and stock or can get almost any product.

• WDC carries vitamins, crutches & canes, diabetic supplies, first aid and much more!

5. Can I trust Weaverville Drug Company to fill my prescriptions correctly?
• The answer is YES! We have a highly trained staff with a combined total of 110 years of pharmacy service.
• Our chief pharmacist & owner, Chuck, is certified in the management of asthma, high blood pressure & high cholesterol & diabetes.
• We have four Nationally Certified Pharmacy Technicians; each has between five and twenty-five years of pharmacy experience!
• Staff members attend meetings, continuing education classes and training seminars on site and at MAHEC regularly. Weaverville Drug requires far more training for technicians than most other pharmacies.
• Your prescription is never filled by an unqualified or inexperienced person. At Weaverville Drug we feel our staff is the best anywhere.
