What makes Weaverville Drug Different
from big chain pharmacies?
Quality Care
Pharmacy Focus
At Weaverville Drug Company, the pharmacy is the focus of the business, "not next to the produce department or the tire section." The pharmacy department and our pharmacy patients are our main focus, and account for the majority of our sales.
Technology
Weaverville Drug Company utilizes state-of-the-art technology throughout the pharmacy department. Our computer system not only processes and stores your prescription information, it bills your insurance and performs many checks to insure you safety. Our workflow system uses a four-check process to make sure your prescription is dispensed correctly. Our interactive voice response telephone system allows you to order prescription refills or transfers any time, day or night. You can also contact us and order prescriptions via the internet. Our advancements in technology help to reduce the risk of errors; they also free up the pharmacists in order for them to spend more time focusing on patient care and counseling. But most importantly, they provide you, our customer, better service and safety.

Community Relations
Our store is locally owned and managed. Our management and staff are all part of the local community. Unlike a chain store, where the policies, merchandise selection, and everything else is decided by corporate management far away, we respond to the needs of our customers and our community.
When you shop at a chain store, the only part of your money that stays in the community is a few of the payroll dollars. Almost all of their other income is sent out of town. As a locally owned business, more of what we take in stays here. We make jobs not only for our employees, but that also support the jobs of our neighbors.
We really do care about our customers. Our customers are our neighbors. We all live in the same community our customers do. We attend the same churches and our children go to the same schools. Our staff strives to meet the needs of our customers because they are our friends. The management of large chain stores doesn't know you or really care about your needs. They simply care about your money.
We fill your prescriptions promptly. We do our best to keep your waiting time as short as possible. Many chain and grocery stores have a pharmacy just to keep you in their store for an hour or more so you can spend more money there while you wait. We value your time as well as our own.
We do our best to help those with special situations or unique needs. Our staff members take the time to help many of those the 'big guys' don't have time for.
We give back to the community by supporting local charities, schools, churches and community projects.
